Summer Vacation Day 56

Saturday nights are traditionally "date night", so I decided to dress one of my girls for a night on the town.  There is only one version of this doll mold living at my house.  This is Shake It Up Korinne.  She was a 2012 IFDC doll.   Her edition size was 300 and she cost $150.
I took her off the Victoire body she came with and gave her a tall handspeak body from Follow The Line Kesenia.  She is wearing a reproduction Mattel dress called Silken Flame- it is difficult to find the vintage version of this dress in pristine condition.   The coat, hat and purse are from the vintage version (1960-1964).
I think she looks great in this outfit!  I completely missed the beauty in this doll when she was released. My doll friend Rich told me about her, and I found her NRFB on e-bay for less than her retail price.  How can you resist this face?

Beautiful! I had that outfit for my platinum bubble cut barbie when I was a young girl. Since they were "given away" by my wicked step mother, I now have the reproduction outfit and found the vintage Platinum bubble cut barbie on ebay several years ago. Just love them!
