Second Doll of 2014 - Poesie Enchante Agnes

A doll that has been on my "Grail List" for several years has finally arrived.   I can now say that I own all of the doll from the 2009 Iconic Convention - which has been a very difficult feat to accomplish.   This particular one has been the most elusive because she is usually too expensive to add to my collection.  Fortunately, I was in the right place at the right time.

Here she is - Poesie Echante Agnes

This is a closeup.
I am so thrilled she is here.  There are only three dolls left on my Grail List now.  I am not ready quite yet to debox her.   I told my husband, it was definitely time to get my IKEA display cases.

Since I decided to leave her in her NRFB for now, I got inspired to try evening gowns on Gold Glam Adele.  Since I keep thinking of her as Beyonce, it is difficult to find a gown that I believe fits her personality.  I finally reached a decision with "Regal Solstice" from 2011.  I changed out the jewelry and shoes, but I thought Gold Glam pulled this difficult look off.
And a closeup.

  2. Poesie Enchante is really beautiful, she has such a perfect screening. I can understand why she was on your grail list, but don't let her in that box too long, poor thing even if she doesn't show she needs some love....LOL

  3. Your dolls are so beautiful. I would love to see all them set up and take a tour! Maybe you will give a virtual tour one day?

  4. Those are both gorgeous dolls - I'm so impressed with the way they painted the arch of the eyebrows on both of them.

And congratulations on adding a grail doll to your collection!

Thank you for your wonderful comments and the encouragement to write this blog. It is only possible because you read and respond. I do not comment back because I have not figured out how to do that. That is my goal for the New Year - to better design my blog.
