Yes, I am old enough to remember that old saying! LOL. As a matter of fact, I grew up on a farm and we had a horse shoe ring toss pit. We actually used real horseshoes -- we has horses -- and my father set up the pit. Many hours of getting it close and maybe even a few ringers. Funny how your post brought back those memories. Anyway, since I am not a member of the W-Club and I have purchased very few FR dolls directly (usually on the secondary market), I haven't experiences this issue with FR, but I will tell you that Mattel has also been making some disappointing decisions with the Barbie line.
